I think the VET cams are great, they could be better, but now I have no reversion. You can take out the overlap in the stock cams on the big lobes, but by doing so you create a situation on the small lobes. if you take out 10* overlap, then the small lobes will have 5* of crank rotation as the piston comes back down without the valve being open. This creates a small vacuum and increases pumping losses. On the high end it will scream, but the low end will inevitably suffer.
