Questions on oil feed restrictors
Alright guys, a car I recently bought is equipped with a Silvia S15 type R dual ball bearing turbo. (GT2871R ?) I need to feed it with oil, but I get confused when I search oil feed restrictors. So educate me.

At the moment, I'm thinking on coming from a nissport oil adapter, to a .035 restrictor, to a -3AN or -4AN line going to the turbo. Sound right? Should I use -3 or -4 line? what size restrictor should I really use? Should the restrictor be place close to the turbo or is back by the block ok?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

people typically put the restrictor on the CHRA right before the oil enters the turbo.

block -> line -> restrictor -> turbo -> return line -> block

contact Greg V and get the CS block. they come with a built in restrictor.

I've seen the CS oil block and it's a very nice piece. So a -4AN line with a .035 restrictor is what I want for this ball bearing turbo?

Depending on what motor and oil pump/pressure you have the size of the restrictor you need may be different. The oil pressure you are getting after the restrictor is what matters.

I personally have run into problems with a journal bearing t25 and VE pump and stock bluebird restrictor. The T25 can get away with more pressure than the ball bearing too.

Find someone who has the exact motor/oil pump and any ball bearing turbo who hasn't had any problems to be safe if you have a higher oil pressure pump/motor and find out the restrictor they have
