Nissan Crazy, what turbo r going to get now...I've been thinking about running a .82 GT35R...the only thing stopping me is that I'm buildin a street car, so even after I install new valve springs I'd only have a 3k range of power...plus do I really want a 500+whp car on the streets
oh snap I think I just talked myself into upgrading my turbo...lol

Well I was on the phone with forced performance and was talking to them about there gt3582hta.....and I called precision and talked to them about the SC6262 ( thier new billet wheeled turbo ) and I am contenplating going bigger , but I would really like to know if he made , or got close to 500whp , because with the differant manifold , exhaust housing and the EMS , and o2inductin intake manifold , I should beable to make it if he got close ....but he is not pretty close I am going bigger , I am just looking for somthing that spools better then the 35r with similar power output

I don't like that big of a turbo. It makes a ton of power, but the 3076r is pushing it in my book for streetability. It is ok but I have toyed with the idea of the 3071r 82 ar housing.

I have video as well I will post up asap.

coheed, when do u see full boost with the .63ar housing...I have heard that the .82ar GT30R is the perfect street turbo...the big power of the GT35 is seducing me, but I think that the GT30 should help me meet my goals.

Nissan Crazy, ur driving urself crazy. I think ur setup with the equal length manifold and the o2 induction manfiold should be able to hit 500whp at around 24psi.

it depends on gear. on 15psi I hit boost at about 4500, but in 4th or 5th gear I hit it at about 3700rpm.

This is high altitude. On 20psi I hit at about 5k or 4k in the higher gears.

not even 24psi, more like 18 psi. I knew a guy that made 508whp at 22 PSI on SC61, log manifold, stock intake manifold.

IIRC, that's about the same as a SC61.

If you want big power and spool like a 35r go with a GT4088r.

With the right parts you can make whatever power you want. I am going to do a HTA35r on my car this year and a BW or GT42r next. My 35r set up will make over 500 on pump no problem.

I don't like the lag of the bigger turbos. I like mine to hit hard, and pull like a madman. This turbo does okay, but is still a little bit laggy for my taste. Nothing beats the instant response of a disco potato.
