I am betting 475whp or more if I can rap this motor out. I will max this turbo out for sure. I need 8k or more.

I didn't want to get bashed for this earlier, but these runs were on pump gas. 91 octane. I shouldn't be saying this because I really didn't know if she would hold up on pump, but after reading the plugs after the first pull I knew she would be ok.

You can see the torque really falling off at the top end before it wants to take off again. That would be the clutch. The torque numbers on my other graphs show a big jump when vvl hit so I changed the engagement to 5500rpm.

more video.

So you were actually runnin pump(91) gas at 24lbs??????? hmmmmmm........Do you know for sure that you were not detonating? Were you data logging the knock sensor at all, or were you even reading knock in some form or another at all? Or did you have someone listening at all? Im
asking cause that just seems a tad high for pump......unless you have almost no timing into it. But with a JWT chip you have no way of playing with your timing like a standalone. I would not run this much boost on pump unless you know for sure you are not knocking, doubtful though.

Secondly you are actually saying that you did not know if she would hold up on pump.......So stop there and repeat that statement. Yet you still ran 24lbs? So im glad she did not take a crap on the dyno, but why take a chance at all????

Congrats on your numbers.

I was under the impression he did 15 psi on 91 octane, then mixed in some 112? octane for the higher boosted runs.

^^^ Ya I figured I would get some feedback on that. Like I said the plugs were read after the first pull on 24psi and it looked good. I listened very closely for any detonation, but there was none. Zero. Plugs looked great after runs. I really wanted to do the high boost runs first, that way the car stayed cool.

I had 4 people there listening intently for any signs of detonation. None of us heard anything. Car did just fine. It must be in the tune or the high altitude.

Maybe a little tuning and a good bov and I can hit better numbers. But I am satisfied with the results for now. Car still runs perfect! I could not be happier with the results.

For the record I did mix in some high octane stuff...after the runs lol. I still have the good stuff in there and I will be dynoing again here soon perhaps. This time with wideband results.

I hate high elevation, What would that power be like near sea level?

Well, The power should be the same. Since this is a dynojet and has the SAE correction on it, I would most likely see the same results, but the turbo would probably spool faster.

Well done very promising first results!

Fix clutch, boostleak and try and get the tune better and you should have a very intense road car.

2 questions:

What AFR numbers were you getting on the dyno runs?, and which spark plugs are you currently using?

Where you doing any type of tuning or were you just doing pulls and raising the boost levels?
