ok.. i been battleing a bad idle problem for a while (u13)
Ok here are the issues...when there's a cold start i have to tap the gas to stay on.at first then it idles rough..if i dont it sounds like its running on 3 cylinders
then dies..after that its fine....the vac pres would be at 20 vac at 800-1k but then it drops to 400-300k the the vac drops to 12-13..I did pressure test the system i found leaks and fixed it ...BUT when i pressure to system to 20-25 i get a leak at the adj FPR it seems the it leaks a lil at the top bolt to hold the adjustment....engine comp is good,i adjusted idle but still happens..timing is good.and i change the temp senor..spark plugs i have to double check...in the morning before i start the car to see if its wet with fuel...does this sound like a leaky injector...any thoaghts?

ok..i readup on doing that but im a lil shaky on it its just the 3 or 4 bolts holding it down...then pull on the rail to expose the injectors...next but a towel under the injectors then turn the ignition to on ...im i missing anything? like if i take the rail out would it be difficult to put back in?i can do this now but im at my job and i don't want to get stuck at my job...

i thought it would be hard to do, but it was really easy. But yes you are in the right track. just have someone help you with turning the in ignition that is all.

ok.. i pulled the rail and non of the injectors were leaking ...but i did notice one spacer is missing..the one next the injector 3 ..and injector 2 was replaced..because all on the injecotrs are grey and # 2 is purple...i know purple injectors r 370's so what are greys...and what if they but na injectors in wouldnt the car not run..if its a u13 ecu since its set to 370?

and should i pull the rail agian when the car is cold to see if that makes a dif since at cold starts this happenes...but at the same time i have that idle problem ima pressure test it agian..im just gonna cap the fpr..to see if i have anymore vac leaks

Ok there no codes..tps is new and set to .50..the maf i swapped out no difference in idle..temp sensor is good.ICAV is good ..the 02 i will have to test that..and with the adjustable fpr its basicly new...is this common to happen with these..and how would i fix it...

I would use your receipt and take it back if you can (...or buy another one and return the old one in the new ones box)

For the MAFS TPS and O2 as well as the injectors you can just unplug each one, one at a time. Start the car up and see if it runs the same. If it runs the same you know you found what is wrong. Each one of those should make the car run considerable worse otherwise, then you know they are good

ok idles is getting much better ...i cut a thin slice of vac. hose then put oil on it so when i tight the screw its wouldn't rip...worked like a charm...car is started to idle much better this weekend im swaping a new t-25 since the turbo whines and the act. leaks and a new 02 sensor ...question part # for a skinny o2 from a 89 300zx...i have and new o2 that i have to slice a new connector on and plus where can i buy a a cover for the wires for the heat...? btw i did another compresson check and as i stated earlier the car had 3 grey injector clips and one had a purple...i believe there 330cc(grey) injectors...and my 134 piston where around 142-147 and my 2nd piston was 155 so that helped a lot two...so due to my act. leaking i wasn't getting all boost which helped me not det. under boost do to the small injectors...but it def showed wear on the motor from this...once i found that out i def fixed dat asap...knowledge will save you money on the long run...
