Driving correctly would not cause destruction like that unless from a high horsepower car. 30 psi is impossible from a t25 the efficiency range is about 14 psi at most you would prob be making 280 hp maybe and that would not destroy the clutch. Stock u13 motor with some jwt S4's.
3071r,jwt ecu,750cc injectors.....24.5" mt slicks & stock b13 tranny.
Launched at 6000rpm like i always do with all my setups on slicks.
The b13 tranny survived but it's going into retirement.

Did you drop the clutch off the line? or preload and then ease it out?

Wow i would think that with that set up you opted to go with a full face disc....i woulda gone Exedy triple plate....but then the stock tranny woulda blew up.....

i didnt think about it, but what does tht say for that disc? if the pressure plate was destroyed but the disc wasnt? you would think it would be the other way around

thats what I was thinking, I want that disc, I have shredded a couple of them now.

What is the setup? I must have missed it...

doesnt say how much whp, but i imagine the slicks with the possible drop of the clutch could have definitly done that.

he said the company climed 450whp it could have taken

altho most if not all clutches dont go off of whp but wtq is what will do something like that.

Blckse-r on the old forum ran 12.1 on DR's. With slicks and a nasty ass launch he might of been able to hit a 12 flat of 11.999. Lol. 17psi with stock cams, **** is moving.

As far as the original poster, thats a sick setup. Thats why I am scared of slicks and a hard launch. Fear of breaking ****!
