GT3582R spoolup; does it look right?
GDay folks!
Yesterday, I started tuning my car on the street. It runs on MS2 / extra. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive. Budget weekend warrior build.
Specs:
- GTi-R engine, bone stock except 86,5mm JEs and light head cleanup. Stock cams.
- Garrett GT3582 T3 0.63, 3 inch exhaust. Tial 38mm.
- homemade exhaust manifold, NOT equal lenght.
- homemade sheet metal intake with 75mm TB, 3 inch intercooler piping
- 660cc injectors for now to see how it works
- Water to air intercooler
- runs on E85. *amn, smells soooo sweet.....
- conservative ignition timing for E85
Here are some log-snippets. Boost-start, boost-mid and boost on wastegate-spring 16 PSI / 1,1 bar.
Stoped at 6000 because pistons are only 50 miles old.
Do you think the turbo-spoolup is fairly ok?
Cheers!
