Like everyone said, stop working backwards. You're bound to run into issues with the parts you have. Use what you know works and is proven. Stop beating around the bush. Hate to be the one to say it but your issue lies in your reluctance to listen. You could have avoided this had you listened years ago, so start giving people's advice some thought before considering rigging the setup to make it work. Im in no way trying to come off as a prick, but I'm just giving my two cents. Rip the kit off, sell it or take a loss and get it done the right way. Good luck.
