It has been a long few weeks however I have everything in hand aside from my pressure plate which should be here in a week or two. Moving forward I was wondering If anybody has pushed the stock cams with a 62mm, rather than just swapping them out. I would be interested in seeing a graph if anyone could help me, I have the sr16 cams in hand but based on my power target as well as my old vd graph I am beginning to think I don't need to use them. So I will be off to the machine shop on Monday and the rebuild would begin as soon as the machine shop is finished. Also comp messed up my order a bit and sent a .63 turbine housing, but because of where I live it is less trouble for me to test it out and buy a .82 later if it poses a problem rather than sending it back. So any input on the stock cams and the impact of the .63 would be appreciated.

So we got some time and we put the motor together and mounted it into the car.
The changes are:
8 counter weight crank
forged rods and pistons
cosworth gasket 1.8mm
arp headstus
sr16 cams
comp 6265 .63
Act 6 puck unsprung with a extreme pp

Then we did a quick mock up of the turbo and manifold just to make sure it cleared the radiator.

The plan is to get the car running do some virtual dynos, add an xessive plenum rewire the car, then repair the body

Few small updates we modified a Gtir fuel rail to use some top feed injectors some of the new type Bosch 1000cc from a Subaru as I was already using 850cc side feed injectors designed for Subaru the clips were the same, a little drilling was done to the intake manifold beneath where our stock injector seal sits because the ve seals were to large aside from that it was an easy back yard mod, we made the Gtir rail twin entry and moved the fuel pressure regulator to the center of the rail , this was more about getting the Gtir rail to fit and not about improving fuel flow because I know twin entry rails are more of a concern for a straight 6 rather than a 4 banger.
