Thread: How much boost with stock sleeve with 88mm bore will hold!!

I am thinking converting my 88mm 12.5:1 motor into a turbo motor without changing anything internally to the motor!!
The motor has 88mm JE pistons and H beam rods. The head is ported and has N1 cams supertech springs and Xcessive IM setup!!
The Idea is making as much power as possible without opening the motor!!
Motor already makes 248whp on 93 pump gas!!
I am thinking on building a turbo manifold and run a 62mm billet turbo just for fun!!
To see how much reliable power I can get on low boost and 93 pump gas!!

Ashton had a similar 12.5:1 engine 90mm bore I think and broke 700whp. Was E85 though...

May want to go with a slightly bigger turbo.

Yeah Ashton had a sleeved block. I was on a stock sleeve 86.5MM @ 32LBS and never had an issue on a old crappy 65mm turbo
