Turbo Options
Hello, I'm looking to build a SR20DET and trying to hit the 300-380hp area. I'm trying to find a good option for a turbo that will produce a good power band without being a huge turbo. I'm building the vehicle (RX7 with SR swap) as a autocross corner hugging machine and I don't want huge amount of turbo lag. Any tips or recommendations would help out greatly

Thanks

2871 or 2876 on stock manifold should be more than sufficient for your power goals.

2860rs with supporting mods to get you to 350whp. Almost instant spool and good power output. I think this matches the SR the best for any autocross/racing platforms.

My 2871r is kinda laggy. I have ran it at a road course a few times and it does OK, but I also drive the car on the street. If it was a track-only car, I'd go with the 2860rs.

Or maybe the gtx2867R, which has the spool of the GT2860RS, but the power of the GT2871R
