Yeah, i'll try to follow that tomorrow. I got some of the stuff off. Seems pretty simple the way you just put it And what about the lower half of the manifold? Is it the same between the 95-97 and 98-99? Cuz it looks like a real PITA to take off lol

Yeah, it's the same. The only difference is the upper manifold itself.

Such as
-Catalic Converter
-PCV Valve
-Unleaded gas restrictor
-EGR
-Fuel Evap control
-oxygen sensor
-gas tank cap
When they hook up the machine to a OBD2 port they start your vehicle and monitor these parameters in realtime to make sure they work properly. Also if you change he ECU it will take at least aprox 1000 miles for some of these parameters to start working ask me how I know??
I got a 98' and I turbo it for a awhile until inspection time came, trust me it suck but I learn the whole emmission system for 98'

They certainly don't do that in Texas though. Not in Oregon or Washington either. I might do this if I can learn it all. I'm willing to bet that these items cause the stuttering I referred to earlier. No common tune-up item is known to address it and its only 98/99s.

Great thread Tekkie. I wish I could add something but when I Boosted my 98 I went with a DET swap. I had a CEL and a bunch of unused plugs but the car ran great.

No Emissions testing in NH back in the day so I didn't care to hunt down all the codes or anything

Ok, this is what I have pulled so far.

I noticed I'm missing the white T, I thought I had it somewhere, but now I'm not sure if it was even on the car.... where does that lead to? And what do you do with the part that goes into the intake (the little nipple line)?

Second, what do I do with this? I'm not sure...

And third, should I take that line with the evap port off?

Well the seccond one looks like the charcoal canister most people leave that because it helps with evaporative emissions and isn't leak prone. I had mine disonnected on my B13 for awhile and it didn't seem to hurt things.

I have no picture of a charcoal canister up there lol the third one leads to the evap canister in the back of the car, that second one says something about Boost on it lol

Oh and also tekkie, what about our throttle bodies? We have 2 connectors on it for the tps, do we need to switch to the other style?
