Yeah i have seen those pics before, they are very interesting. 100% a Xtrail head on a rwd thou, there are some tell tail signs.

I am positive nissan would of made more versions of SR20VET if they didn't have the financial issues they had around that time.

Yup it looks like this is the case

hmm nearly 50hp jump when he switches the cams on the vet cams......I wonder why he never looked into this further. I believe the set up was log manifold, gt3076r, 24psi, 6500rpm vvl switch. Not sure if that gain is just from the intake.

Looks promising, but again he was using both VET cams, I am planning on using a 20v in and VET ex combo,

You planning on dynoing several combinations? 20v Intake and VET exhaust certainly looks best on paper and I'd consider it, but it would mean buying two sets of cams and not using half of them lol

Well the vet ex is avaliable new, and vet used sets are easy to get vet in is rubbish anyways

I am willing to test out all these cam combo if someone sends me the cams to test.....

btw.... Kelfords 184-T is where it's at on a big bore VE-T with the built ve head.....

Kleen do you have access to a dyno? I've got a set of vet cams I've been holding on to for a future build but won't be able to do something with them myself until mid next year. If someone is willing to let you borrow some 20v cams I'll send you the vet ex cam to test.

True, but I thought he didn't' switch the exhaust high lobes on? I may be wrong.

I didn't switch the exhaust cam on the dyno, but I did try switching it. The cam lobe seemed really unrefined and actually lost power. The intake cam switch only is what provided the most power. BTW I tried this on both manifolds. Both VVL solenoids were hooked up and I played with them a lot. The VET exhaust looks really large, but it may not be properly ground for use.

Friend of mine pop'd in my spare one tuned it and put it around the track, he said the power delivery was awesome.

My brand new VET ex, and brand new 20v ex high lobe are identical in every way, Visually and after measuring them.

My engine should be running next next year and i will test and post up details.
