Any idea why the seals are popping? I haven't seen others have this problem at similar or higher pressures

The little seals that came with the ID1000's are not big enough to hold down the stock seals when the boost is constant (like in 3rd and 4th) since those injectors are a lot skinnier than the conventional injector. It will be taken care of.

We had aluminum adapters machined for id1000 injectors to seal perfect on the stock rubber sr20 seal with top feed fuel rail. Turns out the supra guys use the same type of thing.

I used nylon washers and used a uni bit to bore them out to the right size. Worked perfect on my de, did the same thing for my ve rail.

Can I get some pics? I got my inj an rail from doug fab an they seemed to fit perfect without using anything but what came on them..

In this pic you can see im not running the stock rubber thing.. the rail seems to hold the injectors down tight enough that the rubber seals on the gasket press against the outside of the injector hole in the mani.

Car seems to run fine an I didnt really have any issues adjusting for them...

Am I doing it right?

I AM using the stock rubber seals and they are working fine.
Setup is identical to Lynch otherwise though...hmm.
