me too bro, I got alot of things I wanna sort out be fore we go back


I know how you feel. I had several dyno sessions before I got all the bugs worked out with the built motor. Some issues can't be seen on the street.

15psi isn't inefficient for this setup or for the 6262. The low torque is due to the low boost, which is related to the density of the air. This turbo is perfectly happy at 15psi. Precision turbos tend to like lower pressure ratios than a similar Garrett. More boost would make more power, surely, but adiabatic efficiency isn't everything. Higher boost will still create more heat, regardless of efficiency. But it'll make more power too.

I wouldn't think twice about the efficiency of the 6262 at even 10psi because I ran it that way for a long time on my cars and it always performed amazingly well.

Tuning was done with very low timing just to see what it would do. When timing was added, the seals started to push out. I think its good for mid 400hp at this same boost when everything is sorted.
