The EFR don't get a lot of recognition. Some tricky stuff going on there, but price and packaging prevents most from going that route. Dat gamma-ti. mmmmm.

Agreed.

Big money teams around here run them, and have seen offhand good results with the 7163 on a T4 Fullrace TS (on both a VE and DE heads). People hear T4 and think Diesel turbo, but this damn thing spools even better than a GTX3076/71R with even more headrooom up top! Transient response is on another planet!

The GTX series aint bad, but the EFR brings a whole new world to things. Just wish they didn't come with a shitty plastic BOV and subpar wastegate diaphragm

Imho the GTx2867r will be the better choice and make awesome power for street or track. The GT30r, well... most know my opinion on that turbo. The 76r is a mismatch. I know others will say otherwise, but I'd take the GTx2867r over the 3076r. Better response and very similar power output as long as you use the .86ar. The .86ar with the ns111 wheel flows about the same as the GT30's T30 turbine in the .63ar. The Ns111 is an amazing wheel though!
