LQ9 - D585 coils with the heatsinks They are totally awesome coils. (and dirt cheap) We were running the car @ 26psi and .025 gap before the last DE engine went. I wish it held out a little longer so we could have found out how wide the gap could go...

Did you adjust the dwell to 4ms?

The EMS4 has D585 coils in its default sensors. Didn't have to change anything manually

I only ask because the RB guys run the gap out to .35 @ little higher boost settings. Great cheap coils tho.

I'll have to check the stock settings on the AEM to see. The only reason I was @ .25 gap was because with the stock ecu and distributor with MSD I could only hit 18-20 PSI before blowout issues. I had gone as far as .018 gap but still had problems. That's the main reason I went standalone. It's good to know I should be safe at .035 gap on high boost
