Thread: water leak on a DET...vid inside

Mark told me it was a freeze plug.... I know it's a freeze plug.. I just don't want to believe it's a freeze plug.

Tommy, check the easy to get to obvious shit first.. then if u dont find anything yank the motor an hope its jus a freeze pl ug an not a crackes block..

Did this jus start or was the car sittin over winter Or what?

id take a bad freeze plug over a hole in the block. be glad its a $2 part to replace instead of a $700 one.

Do you still have your heater hoses connected? i had a leak in that spot, turned out it was a split heater hose coming from that area of the engine, next to the engine head, above the trans bell housing.

I actually have no heater hoses connected period....
