Yea I ground down my upper VE pan... DET pans do not fit.

Make sure to use the correct oil pickup with what ever pan setup you use.

What about main bolts? Do you need longer bolts to fit the main caps and girdle or does everyone use arp studs top and bottom?
I'm going to do a semi built motor with ve crank and lower parts, I have a extra ve and det crank that will be getting worked.

I used arp main studs and ge head studs.
