Thread: Where Am I Going From Here?!?!?

So, I recently picked up a 'No-Start' 1993 Nissan Sentra (from a well-to-do fella) - surprisingly clean body with BBS rims. (It was odd to see fancy rims on a car like this one) Anyhow, brought it back to my shop and took a peek - WOAH - This ain't no sentra motor dude (I said to myself)... More I looked and looked, there was a turbo (Okay!!), there was a front mounted intercooler (I could feel my heartbeats now).
As it goes, this is an SR20DET (YeeHaa!!) modified suspension, shifter etc.
So here's my question.... Im in Toronto, ON CANADA.
Where do I find parts for this motor?
I managed to get it going - runs like a champ, but hesitates under load.
Distributor cap has 2 pins that are 'gone' corroded / burnt whatever you want to call it. Other 2 pins were in good condition. Why?
Also I noted the turbo took a while to kick in.
I am a newbie to this forum and hope you pros can lend a hand. Thanks in advance.

nice find. Thats got some rare pieces on it too from your pics.
The front and rear bumpers are Japanese,and pretty popular here.
The rear bumper is especially rare having the lower lip.Both bumpers are shorter.
Rear deck spoiler is the rare led style,too.
Someone put some love into that 4dr...but it obviously got sidelined.

You should have a pretty cool,sought after car when you get her back in shape.
I cant hellp with the running issues,but if you post more info such as compression,etc I am sure you will get some help here.

A 1991 or 1992 front end.

The rear tails are certainly the 1993-1994 theme.

So wait you just happened to buy an SE-R that had a turbo kit on it, and you didn't know it? Didn't you pop the hood? LOL. man talk about dumb luck.

Im in the business of buying vehicles for the purpose of recycling/parts etc. So, a 93 sentra... it'd love to meet the crusher!!!
So yes, 'dumb luck' as you put it!! And Im enjoying every second of it (while it lasts)
Anyhow, how do I make this pocket rocket into a rally car for the Targa Newfoundland?
