I run a2w on my blown f150 with a custom ice tank and I have it come on with the ign. I have a intake air temp sensor and heat soak/boost heat has nothing to do with ect figures. You should be running the a2w pump any time the engine sees boost and to keep the temps down keep it running. The only issues I see with a2w is when the coolant gets hot it stays hot for some time so at the track an ice box is a must, plus it drops the iat temps below ambient temp.

Thats why I was thinking an rpm trigger. Cant you set your air con to switch off at certain rpm, just swap it to trigger the pumps.
I didn't think anyone run air con, I do miss mine sometimes.

With nismotronic you can have the ac switch off by tps input. I believe the menu come set at 70 percent tps input will switch off the ac pump.

As for switching off the intercooler pump via rpm I don't recommend. If you get a good pump you can just keep it on all the time, I have 63k miles on my blown f150 and the cooler pump has been running from the start. My after coolant temp heat soaks a lot at low rpms and while stopped. If you insist on turning the pump then run a coolant temp sensor in the after cooling system, but keep in mind you want that to stay cold unlike the engine.

I plan on running mine via key-on only.

Maybe 2 stupid questions but, I have an auto gtir radiator, could i run it through there and the other being using the spare Walbro fuel pump i have??
-edit -
on second thoughts, probably better to get a Davies Craig pump and use a stainless wiper reservoir I have . What is a minimum size reservoir size for 15ltr/Min pump 1ltr?

Do you want your ic water at engine temp? NO! Don't run through your radiator!

^^^ as stated above.... Do not run the a2w system through the radiator. It would no longer be an intercooler but rather an interheater.

As for using a fuel pump to move fluid, you need at least 1/2 tubing so just get a real pump.
