Thread: 3" turbo back vs 3" hood exit hp gains

Thanks for the feedback fellas.. My issue comes down to clearance. Im running a 2.5" dp now and its super super tight with the hot side piping routed the way I have it. I may have to clock the turbo up and run the IC piping over the turbo instead of under it or just flip the turbo around...

shouldnt have to do that all all. I was able to fit 2.5" intercooler piping right next to the radiator with plenty of space for 3" downpipe to fit

Post a picture of the setup will give me some ideas.

Like Alex mentioned you should be able to run a 3" DP with no problems. I ran one and I had a dump welded into the DP. So when I go to the track I can take off the cap and have at it.
