Yeah I'd say the log manifold and the cams are prob holding you back from making the power you should. At 20psi you should be at 375-400whp. But I know its a fun car. Take your time and upgrade as you can. I bet a ported gti-r manifold with no other changes would get you some power back.

Looking at our j pipe those look to be the real restriction for the stock manifold setups though.

Also he's got you dropping down to 11.5 a/f right in the grunt of the power band. You could pick some power up there making in a consistent 12.0:1. I'm betting he gave you a very safe tune...

i think the thing to take into consideration also is that its a t2 hotside housing, this also could be a restriction, and im pretty sure its a .56ar but not 100, i know its not a huge hotside.

for the power it made i think its pretty on par, given the t2 housing,log manifold combo...numbers seem pretty typical for the gt2871r for a turbo that spools low in the rpm range it still wasnt really dropping off in the upper rpm's like you would think.

there are things to work on, im not so sure yet.

Great to hear you finally got the cR running well. Biggest thing Id change is that log t2 mani. A stock avenir would do beter imo.

The power to me was really secondary as drive ability was most important.

Yeah nothing like knowing you can hop in your car and drive off with no worries and then whoop someones ass.

The T2 housing isn't really as much of a restriction as you think. People make 400whp all day on sr20's with that turbo at 20 psi. Even my t2 did 350whp on an avenir manifold with external gate. When you get a chance swap the manifold out and you most likely make even more power

I can say from experience that the last thing you need is to upgrade the IC/piping. People are making well over 5-600hp with 2.5" piping. Going 3" hotside on that setup may even make things worse. Mine isn't a Nissan but made 612hp/458tq with 2.5" intercooler piping each side. Definitely other areas that are limiting your power output.

But like everyone else said, you should just drive it for now and enjoy it and in the meantime save up and have a quality equal length T2 manifold made.

But your intake manifold is bigger tha a whole sr engine!
