He has a 2.5 downpipe that goes to a 3"all the way, why would he need to go bigger?
How old are the plugs?
Disconnect the Vvl solenoids and do a pass and see how it feels.
Those ngk plugs last very little before they start causing issues.
1.Check your timing physically first on the dizzy.
2. Since you don't have the graph in Rpms I cannot see if the power band gets bad after Vvl activation.
3. Why is the boost graph all jagged?
Pics of the setup would help too

2.5" is a pee shooter of an exhaust, that is choking the engine. you have super heated exhaust trying to expand as it exits the turbo into a small pipe which is FURTHER restricted by an immediate 90* bend. so by bumping that up you're giving the car room to exhale, put a 2" pipe for you're intake and let me know how your car performs, bet it'll be like absolute shit. you have a high comp engine, compounded by turbo, and then also by a variable cam timing setup, so when the cams change over this thing needs to exhaust EVEN more. think about what you're saying @gio94sr20ve.

what do air molecules do when heated up?
what does exhaust do as it gets hotter?
based on volumetric efficiency, how well does a 2.5" 90* bend flow with some hot ass exhaust??

His 2.5in exhaust is not the issue. Will it hurt his hp? Yes. But look at what he is asking for. Why are his hp #s so low? 1. He has load issues with the tune like I said, he stated he is seeing max load at 4k rpms and holding static. 2. He is running a tiny turbo so bigger exhaust won't help much.

As I stated before I think he has a pegged maf. But thanks for reading into thing. Next time address his ? not a comment you have a different opinion on. Thanks.

Do you mean scale the maps so that the trace doesn't go all the way to max load?


yes, scale the maps so your trace does not go all the way to max load. you want to have your map a few values higher then its max, but not too far because you still want your last column to be used.

a bigger down pipe will help significantly. tiny turbo, better, even more heat, might not be the complete problem but a large contributor...lick my sweaty grundle you cocky fuck.

Back on subject.

Try rescaling the load table as stated by others. Anyone know max load value for the maf he is running? I would think the value should be higher then 73.

While I can understand what you wrote.......you seem to not have read his original post clearly.
He DOES have a 3" exhaust.
While I can agree with the stuff you say it's not relevant to his issue.
I have tuned a few Vvl powered STOCK motor with bb turbo
Kits and managed to make 270-300whp on pump gas.
Your getting too technical and I can assure you that he can do the 3" downpipe and it won't fix his hp issue.
Look at the graph towards the end his power starts coming back up.
Just trying to help him.

If I'm not mistaken it's not a rescaling reason why it goes to a the last 2 columns.
If it's on the alpha-n- check, then when the Ecu sees a certain percentage in throttle it automatically goes to the last 2 columns.
