Even though the trans will prob outlast the car ... your going to be one wheel spinnin like cray cray when that said 250whp hits the ground on that 98.

I would skip on S4's on T25 unless you do camgears to dial back the overlap (30* is little much for restrictive T25).

I disagree 100%. We had S4 cams on several of our T-25 cars and they all ran amazing and this was without cam gears. The S4 cam will wake a T-25 car up big time. S3 cams are also a good option.

S4's have done well up our way as well. They help up top where the T25 tends to die off.

Out of curiosity, do you have any before and after graphs or whp gains? Just not sure if power gains to cost is worth it on a T25 that's all.

I'm running 91 intake cam ($50) and a ported high port intake manifold ($100) and that keeps the power to 7500 no problem. I have a set of S3's that I'm tempted to try out now though...

This was years ago.... No data showing the difference between the two. If I remember correctly the cars were all in the 260-270 whp range with stock DET's with S4 cams.

I made 251 whp with an s13 t25, s4's, fully rebuilt motor with 8.5:1 OEM internals, fidanza flywheel, 555's, avenir mani, and FMIC. The 251 peaked at 5k rpm pushing 14psi where it fell of to 10psi by redline. ALSO, the tuners wideband come to find out was out of calibration (verified)...where his said 11.5 WOT, my uego read 10.5 (a whole other story). Regardless, this setup is def capable of more and more will be uncovered May 31 when I tune @ Marsh in CT.

Even with this little journal bearing old tired t25 I get wheel spin like a mofo.
