Have you dyno'd before? T28 & S4's - should be around there maybe a little more

hard part is not wanting to go bigger. I'd start out w/larger injectors and a z32 maf from the beginning.

yep I know the feeling. I now have no maf and a 6262. I started out with a gt28r setup around 2004.

T25 on stock manifold 370cc inj safc maxima maf FMIC 3in exhaust s4 cams.

I had this exact setup on a sr20de and put 258whp down and ran 12.9.@ 108 on slicks. Oh and on a cheapo eBay 6 puck clutch. I think I had 700$ into the whole setup including the motor(junkyard special).

How much boost?

I got a sweet twin scroll setup for sale with a evo 8 turbo... divorced o2 pipe.. heck ill evo throw in a n60 maf and maf.adapter for 1100 plus shipping

You think you can Make 250 hp without cams

Sure. More boost will do it, or a T28, or a UK 10:1 motor. 250whp isn't a hard # to hit with some careful part selection and a good tune.


edit; I mean honestly you can hit 250 with a bunch of lousy parts and a crappy tune.... not recommending it though.

I would skip on S4's on T25 unless you do camgears to dial back the overlap (30* is little much for restrictive T25).

+1 on W11 turbo hands down for autocross, if you can keep the power down, that sucker spools fast. I had a W10 T25 in my B15 for couple years now and recently dropped in the GT28r, it just doesn't have the same response as the T25 did as same PSI (7psi). More boost would help, but I need traction more then couple extra HP.
