Exactly what i wanted to see ... proof that on 93 gas you run 14psi ... thw good thing here is we have 98 and 100 in europe so i think hx35 can be boosted to 10-12psi on srock wngine with no probs. Thanks again D-Unit121 ... such info is what i am in for

octain ratings scales are different from country to country. i belive your europen 100 is equal to our US 93.

These engines on stock block can handle 18 psi comfortably and I have even seen 20 and 22 psi thrown at them and they have handled it; and will make 500whp comfortably.

We have tuned to 18 psi on 89 octane easily.

Octane index is in 2 standarts i think ron and mon if remember well so our is ron ... not sure how can be ccompared to us fuel ... 18psi from hx35 will kill the engine for sure .... and 89 fuel?

FYI US rates octane as an average of RON and MON. (A good compromise if you ask me.)

Just checked ... us 93 is a little bit less than euro 98 ... almost same ... euro 100 should be equal to us 95+ ... but the idea is now i have comparison with us fuels so i can use us made timing maps as base maps ...
