Just get the 30R and call it a day. You will not be to laggy and have a pretty powerband. Remember that discount you get on turbos. Also remember you are going to have a nice short block so drop the change for 30R and you will never look back again.

My #1 choice still is the 3071r but the SC6162 is looking very attractvie.

Rob, this is the turbo that I use. Get it, you will love it. I have the .63 housing and it is also extrue honed, and I don't think there is that much lag at all. I usually see 15-20# by 4000-4500rpms. I made 302whp at about 10# and first 511whp @21-22psi then I dynoed again and got 522@ 22-23psi. This is on a stock JDM DE with S4 cams. Let me know if you have any other questons, I've run this turbo for quite a while now, about 3 or so years

Cool deal bro. I am a bit torn but, I am leaning toward the 3071r. The SC61 is in a close 2nd

This is what you need. no bull****. no bling, or questions on performance. this will get you what you need and more for the future. just straight up tire shredding.

GT3076R with a T2 turbine housing. rarely have i seen it with this housing but these peeps say they have it. its more money than the precision, but it like that for a reason.
