3076R will flow more than the 3071R, but not by much, IIRC. The 76 is rated at 550whp, whereas the 71 is rated at 500whp?

the 3071 is rated to 460. the 3076 is rated to 520. But some WRX guys are doing 550awhp with the 3076 with the .82 housing.

IIRC the SC6162 is rated at about 550 whp.

I am not shooting for that much power anyways. My goal is 375 whp-425 whp on pump.

that should be doable, with under 20psi of boost on a good tune, im shooting for 400whp on my setup, i dont think it will be a problem, this is goin on a DET ?

Built VE-T.

I am just debating now where I want my power to be at. I don't want the car to be super laggy but, i don't want boost to come in to early. I am just doing my research to where I can find a happy medium.

Well what are your power goals again? I am going with a SC61 .63, and shooting for around 600whp, these turbos are highly capable rated at 680....the new 62 with billet wheel is a turbo good for around 700+whp.....the 3076 is a solid choice with good spool and will easily hit your goals.....but if your going for big power with some race gas, just get a 35R, still good spool with the ability to do whatever you need up to a little over 600whp

I am not shooting for the stars with this build. I just want a nice quality build. I am shooting for 375-425 whp on pump gas. Nothing more than that.

My #1 choice still is the 3071r but the SC6162 is looking very attractvie.

The 3071 is a great turbo, i love mine. Very fast spool compared the my old 57 trim and more linear power delivery.
