with the car off, should the pressure is stay consisant in the line? or only when the car is on?

well i tried to start the car from a cold start and its stil a real hard start and without as it wont start which doesnt make sense beucase if its running rich and it takes fuel to start? doesnt make sense.

wen i turn the key i get like 40psi then it slowly goes down to like 37psi after like 30mins.... is this indicating a leak of some sort? i looked at my injector o rings and they looked fine...in still really lost with this

so far check:

coil, its working
ngk spark plug wires they look perfect no cracks or frey or nething
fuel injector o rings they look fine
fuel pressure, it seems to be consistant arouns 36-38psi at idle / set to 4bar
cheked for vacuum leaks found nothing
checked the aem and checked the fuel injectors for any out of sync or inconstant injector reading they look fine
went into the aem and set the tps
configured the throttle configurations
checked the distibutor cap
fuel pump primes the line just fine and i seem to get a consistant reading of psi
fuel presure regulator adjusts just fine and when reving the fuel pressure regulator gauge moves so its working.
fuel pump relay is fine
timing as just set at the shop when the car was tuned a month ago so that should be square.

the only thing i checked tht kinda looked bad was the distributor rotor it was kinda burnt, and i had a small small ammout of oil in the distribtor cap from a leaky distributor cap gasket. evrything else seems to be checking out...i will be replacing the distributor rotor tomorrow

any other thoughts?

i may have found the problem, i pulled my distributor cap and looked at it a little more, becuase at first the first time i looked at the cap i was more interested in the rotor button.

but i looked at the distributor cap and noticed that there are 4 little pongs that stick out in the istributor that conducts the spark. well ther are only 2 of the little prngs sticking out in my distributor cap, and the other 2 look like they are sheered off?

^^^ those are the prongs im talking about that meet the rotor button that conduct spark

went to autozone, replaced the distribuor cap and rotor button, i wasnt able to get new spark plugs, they didnt have neiter 6e or 7e in stock, but the car fired right up drove it a little and all seems well

ok im still fouling spark plugs and i dont get it. i am also now getting a hesitaion and a stutter. at idle

the car still isnt firing right up its still taking gas to get it started.

i replaced the spark plugs with bkr7e, replaced the distributor cap, replaced the distributor rotor.

what in the world is causing my car to run rich enough to keep fouling thes spark plugs?

its not AS bad as before i can just wipe off th carbon not like befe but its still foulng them

i tried adjusting the fuel pressure to both 3 and 4 bar to see if there would be a difference in the way it runs, but it doesnt really fix anything

altho i have noticed if i adjust the fuel pressure to 4 bar with the vacuum line off, then with the vacuum line on the car will have like over 40psi reading?

things i have checked are the following:

map sensor: its reding both negative and positive pressures so its working
intake temp sensor: readng fine
distributor cap replaced
distributor rotor replaced
iginiton coil is working fine
spark plug wires are perfect
fuel pressure seems to be solid (as far as nothing is leaking)
fuel pump relay is wroking
fuel pump is priming the fuel pressure
fuel injectors are working in sync not stuck or anything
adjusted TPS
confiured throttle position

Yes. If you have adjusted the FPR for 4bar (59psi) with the vacuum line disconnected, you will see about 44psi with the vacuum line connected.
