spark plugs fouled with dry black carbon?!?!
ok so i somehow managed to aquire another problem without even driving the FING car, its really insane.

here are the symtoms:

Cranks and cranks but wont start without giving gas
spark plugs are fouled with dry black carbon
when started you sometimes can smell fuel but im not 100% on that
idles rough and stalls out
once you do get going if it revs up then shift it will die

im running MAP so its not gonna be a MAF problem, altho that would be a easy fix.

i thought maybe leaking o rings? but its dry black carbon?

any thoughts, im real pissed too this is my 3rd set of plugs it has fouled, ive also double triple and quad checked the gaps too

map sensor or crank angle is off.

check for leaks before the map sensor or that the map sensor wiring isn't bad.

could it be becuase i went from 7e's plug to 5e's (it was the only ones i could find locally for a temp fix?

i checked the aem ems to see i one of the injectors was stuck open, or not insync with the rest and they are all synced with eachother and nothing abnormal there.

once the car is started and sustained a decent idle, the car drives li ke normal.

could it be leakyo rings or something along tose lines? i have been thinking ignition, but i donno

If I were you I'd get rid of those 5's in a heartbeat and go with AT LEAST 6's.

Do yourself a favor and buy at least 3 extra sets of 7E's while you're at it. I keep about 16 plugs extra in my work bench, now. Hell they're only a buck and some change a piece. $20 for plugs is a good investment.

yeah the local autozone didnt have **** in stock, so i as stuck with at least trying these for a temp to see if they worked but they got fouled in a minute

i pulled the injctors and rail, and turned the igniton on and they poped off, needless to say it relieved the fuel pressure. i am going to be installing a uel pressure gauge and see where my fuel presure is relitive to where it should be, and hopfully i can adjust itto make the problem go away

ALTHO, i did pull the distributr cap and it seems i need a distributor cap gasket, as there was a very little bit of oil in my cap and the rotor buttom looked semi burntish...bothare brand new, well 1300miles new. and so not sure about that.

but the injectors are all insync, so it has to be either mesed up fuel pressure, leaky injector, or???? nothing had been messed with on this car, its amazing i can aquie problems not even driving the car

im not saying i fixed this problem , BUT i did get the gauge on, nd i started the car and it was running really rough, i plled the regulator hose adjusted it to 4 bar and right away it made a ton of difference in at least the way the car was idling, it smoothed out and was at 1k which is low for my car even tho for others it would be high, normally its a 1500rpm idle, i dove the car around and it as really responsive, but i have yet to try to start it from a cold start, so no . but i do get solid fuel pressure so the injectors o rings arent it.
