a little advice please
ok this is a re post of another post i made on a diff forum that appears to be dead in the water. so please bear with me.

ok so im looking for some help here, couple issues in fact, first off maybe someone can tell me by looking if this is a fwd or rwd turbo manifold on my car. I got the car with most this work done to it already but im trying to work out the half assed portions, one being fitment on the turbo. here the only pic i have right now(car is in storage until income tax)

Thats the best pic i have right now. Second question is if thats rwd where may i be able to find a stock GTI-R mani? Ebay has failed me so far and closest ive seen is a JGY gti-r mani. Though id prefer a stocker.EDIT NVM just found the awesome classified section on this forum

And lastly radiator/fans, right now the car has the ac removed and the rad has been moved further away from the engine and only has one fan, this appears to be due to location of turbo, are there any half rad options(cant find anything other than honda which) or would this just be something needed to be solved with turbo location. and also intercooler piping, mine is really pieced together and had HORRIBLE welds, is there anywhere that sells a direct kit for the b14 or is it basically a go custom thing as i cannot find anywhere that sells a specific kit. thanks for any and all assistance.

That is a rwd sr mani, you can use a civic radiator and there are two gtir manifolds that are for sale now for dirt cheap. Gtir is the better flowing of the stock turbo mani available for fwd set ups.

If there's room try setting the fans up as pusher's just mount them in front of the rad and reverse the wiring connections to the harness (ground to positive and vica versa).

Is this the B14 with the Skyline headlights from Oceanside, CA ??? If so, I know exactly what you are looking at as I looked at the car several months ago when it was for sale - thou I do not remember what turbo it had exactly.

Where I would start:
GTi-R Manifold with GTi-R T28 or Disco Potato.
KOYO Radiator
FAL Pullers
Have proper FMIC pipping built to run with the APEXi Front Mount that the car currently has.

From there the car needs help in the suspension area too. I don't know if the previous owner ever took care of the ECU & tuning issues or the electrical and clutch/trans issues.

Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Good Luck!
Re-Install A/C (Personally, I don't enjoy having sweaty balls)
