Thread: Evo9 Turbo

Has anyone ever tried installing a evo9 turbo on a SERDET FWD mani? i can get one for cheap but is it worth the hassle? is modification a pain or is doable with time and patience? thanks for the input i appreciate it

what type of turbo is it?

should be a 16g turbo...i was thinking of doing the same ish but i endedup not going thru the trouble .... look check it out ...next time search

evo 9 has a bigger turbo then evo 8 or MR has a bigger turbine. best check..

it a greddy 20g turbo it i remember correctly. It can flow up 400whp. To get this turbo to fit you will need a custom downpipe as the evo use a twin scroll manifold.

no its not a 20g, it's a variant of the 16g, but much custom work is needed to fit.

yes it is worth it. these turbos rock and are well suited to the sr20det

dont know how hard it is to intall, but if you can get quite cheap make it fit
