Thread: High HP transmission mods

600$ for a spec v trans is way to high. I got a full 2006 spec v drivetrain -motor for 600$. I just about have all the parts to 6spd my b14. If you have time to hunt down parts you can save money. As for the clutch options I having been working on more options IE custom parts and better prices pm me for details.

I looked at car part and they all want a g for a spec v :/

Got the car fax no accidents reported, I guess there was an airbag defect maybe that's why it got parted out, all it's life In Colorado, 143,00 miles routine maintenance by Nissan all it's life, the price I feel is high for the miles...

Yeah that price is too high for sure.

I got a complete spec v for $500 that was rolled over. Scrapped the car for $250 and sold the p/s rack to someone for $200. Got everything I needed and then some. Clutch kit is what costs the most. I'll have $1400 alone in my clutch and roughly $400 in the rest of it, including gear oil. You just can't be in a hurry and keep a constant look out for the parts.
