Thread: DE/VE + turbo setup almost complete

over the past few months i have been switching over from de+t to ve+t but what started out as me just converting to ve has definitely let to other things. upgraded to bigger turbo changing my manifold around a little bit, to weight reduction in the cockpit, new rad setup... etc you guys get the point but nevertheless its almost done and should be up and running by next weekend.

when i get my grinder back from someone i lent it to ill put on the intake mani button down the head and have more pics. hopefully later on tonight ill update

arp headstuds are in a torqued i used a oem vet HG

a little update

why did you have to shave the intake manifold to fit?

on the highport engine the oil filter housing is mounted on the left side of the engine. causing the intake manifold from the ve to hit it when you try to put it on. all you have to do is shave the flange on the intake manifold a little bit so it will clear

i finally got it running today. through all the headache. im glad to see the gasket is sealed no leaks, no smoke, everything is good. here is a video let me know what you guys think.
