Thread: ECU

hey guys, i have a tuner in town who can tune factory obd1 ecu's using nistune. Now what I'm wondering is : has anyone ever used an obd1 s13 ecu in place of a b13 ecu? the reason i ask is because my tuner has an s13 ecu with a stock SR tune. and im wondering if i'd be able to tune with it.
I have also determined that the ECU pin-outs are the same from what I see here :

Yes it works ......

They have CAS sensors vs our distributor so it will not work plug & play.

If he uses USDM S13 ECU It will work plug and play if its JDM there is some wiring involved but it will work too...

I will be using a usdm KA24DE ecu tuned for a stock SR, because it is readily available for my tuner.
