As far as I know traction gives a lower MPH but i'm staying out of this. I'll wait just like everyone else.

I can see where Ashton is coming from. It's happened to me before.

The track I normally go to isnt prepped, so I just spun my ass off until 4th (street tires) ran a 13.8 at 106.
I visited a different track (same tires) hooked better after the 330ft and ran a 13.4 @ 110.
Both with 2.3 sec 60'.

But yeah, its normally the opposite.

His slicks will be a bigger diameter so that will help with getting more MPH.

Here is some examples from the 17 passes i had that night. My first 2 runs where i had my boost at 12-13 psi all gears and blew the tires off all the way down the track i trapped 124 and 125. Same scenario i tried peddling the gas as best i could and got into 5th sooner where i had traction and my mph instantly went up to 128-129. Then changed the boost by gear a bit to again get as much traction as possible while peddling and mph went to 130-131. Literally making it where the more traction i had the higher the trap. We will see what happens.

Car turned 151k on the way home today. So far 1600 miles on the motor and its running like a champ.

What are you running for suspension?
Looks like you were also spinning in your race with the mazworx gti-r. That car took off on you like a mother***** with out much spin...

Is the boost regulated by gear or by MPH?

Mph rob. Ive got the suspension properly set up. That was due to the track we were on.

As you spin the ECU is rising the boost before you get traction making you spin even more.
