I hardly ever post, but I just wanted to give you props on your car. It's looks nice and simple and it seems you have done your research and chose your parts wisely. Good luck on this revamp

Dude, seriously...STOP. Every thread I open has you telling somebody their setup is great and they will make 400whp easy like you did.

NO SR20 motor will EVER make 400whp AND 400wtq. Torque is a function of displacement whether you like it or not, our cars are 2 litres, not some LS1, yes you could hit 400wtq, but somewhere closer to 500whp.

Either post a dyno sheet, or stop guestimating...

im not guestimating BRO, my ****s tuned... and im not saying EVERYONE can make my power, i said i dont se why he wouldnt make his power goal HIS powr goal. i am simply giving my peronal expierences with the GT series turbos, THANK YOU

Naghebe, my engine is already together, sorry. thanks tho, I'm sure you'll find someone who wants a good setup.

What money shot do you want? My old motor? Nothing to scream about, but here's a pic:


As for the new motor, I don't have it yet, it's coming to me already assembled, but I'll put up pics as soon as I have it, of course. Here's a pic of the old motor out of the car:



trblsme2k2, thanks, I've really enjoyed the sleeper factor on this car, plus brutal power is fun. I'm pretty sure I'm going to spring for a set of street drag radials before too long too.

I guess I should say that the main reason for the swap is that after 210K+ miles, the first and second cylinders are down to under 100psi compression, and I'm just not ready to get rid of the car. I have been pushing this old setup too hard, running those poor little 370's at 4 bar and making the motor keep up with 14psi has just taken their collective toll on the motor.

Bout time you man'd up.. I plan on changing things a bit myself, but plan on making 350-375 on just this whimpy GTiR T28....

Keo, I do need a new stock dogbone, I ditched mine and don't have anything to put the prothanes in. Got one laying around? Anyone? lmk.

I'd also like to find a pair of 10mm spacers/lugs for my rear wheels, a front sway bar would be nice, I've considered a manual steering rack, I've considered upgrading my johnny racecar driver FMIC for something a little more efficient. If anyone has any of this to sell, lemme know. Oh, and look at the classifieds for stuff I'm pulling off my old motor....

Oh, one last thing, I don't see how you get injectors out of the rail, any tips? I don't want to jack up the injectors or seals. Thanks!

I have a spare dog bone mount, also I have a set of 10 - 50mm Nismo wheel studs. also have a 26.75" long, 6.20" high and 3.50" deep Precision Turbo intercooler good for 350hp.
