If you still have any pistons complete look at their oil ring orientation, if you run all de pistons you will not be able to run bigger cams but for vet marsh says you wouldn't be missing much for the cost of the extras

Yeah im gonna stick to stock cams and just get the car moving for now and pay off some funds

EM is the name of the individual PDF file. Stands for Engine Mechanical. You can find it in any FSM for a sr20 car.

Okay so im trying to put the pistons in, sr20de pistons and rings in the ve and the top ring wont go in. Do I have to use ve rings or what cause the de rings top is largest they will not insert

Maybe you should have someone who knows what they are doing assemble your engine for you.. I know that sounds dickish, but when you have your motor apart again because something didnt go right you'll be wishin you had.

do you have a ring compressor on the pistons? are you sure you have the rings on there correctly? This is making me nervous wont lie

Did you gap the piston rings?
When I assembled my engine the rings I got said they were pre-gapped, but I always verify myself and sure enough, they weren't gapped. That may cause them not to get in.
