ORLY. Why don't you check out Keo's post above yours. Also, I said it first if you read the 2nd post in this thread. reading owns you, perhaps? rofl?

If he's using his Avenir manifold and Avenir J-pipe and the downpipe he was using w/his T25, he should need *no* modifications.

all true but if your using a GTIR T28 on a Avenir Manifold and Jpipe, you will need to drill out the jpipe. drilling = modification.

Yes, but the OP *ISN'T*. ONLY a turbo upgrade. Let's not confuse him with extraneous info.

dude chill, the info we are providing are not extraneous.

his Jpipe will not bolt onto the GTIR T28 with out widening the hole some just like we said and Vadim even showed pics.

IMHO, the info provided are necessary to get the job done right.

So it's the 5-bolt pattern on the exhaust housing which is slightly different?

That is correct. This is the case on GTiR T28 only. My T25 Jpipe fit perfectly on a Disco and GT28r

Interesting.

Did you actually drill on the j-pipe or just the gasket?

Both need to be drilled, or use a T28 gasket.
