VVL valve cover PCV vent hose to intake
I Picked up an sr20ve valve cover for my DET to get rid of the oil catch can and run just that much more efficiently. Do I run the PCV vent hose prior to the TB as it is OEM, or do I route it before the turbo? Either way, Is it ok to to plumb in an external separator on this hose to reduce oil buildup in the Intake manifold just that much more?

Pics would be great.

Thanks

You've got two brass fittings coming off the valve cover and one grommet for the Pcv valve. Obviously, you cannot have a pressure source feeding into it, or you're defeating the purpose. You could read the article in the manifesto that explains the theory behind the pcv system and I'm sure you could answer your own question. Otherwise, here's your answer. The fitting on the exhaust side goes to the block obviously, the pcv valve hose goes to the intake manifold, and the fitting near the throttle body gets plumbed BEFORE the turbo. Oh and yes you could run a separator on that line if you want.

That's weird! The thread titles are slightly different and they both posted at the same exact time. Weird!!!

Works out though lynch, I like p10's answer better :-P

Weird. Now you have two answers that match.
