Hydro Lock help PLEASE!
Just last night we went to start the car and gas started to pour out of the exhuast (open downpipe becasue i just boosted it on a t25) & then the motor wouldnt even try to turn over, just a "clink" sound and then there was nothing. so first thing we did was check to see if there was gas in the intake manifold, theres was a little bit but nothing outrageous. So after finding that out we pulled the spark plugs and tried to start it with the plugs out, gas started to shoot out of the 3rd, 2nd, and 4th plug, we got all the gas out and put the plugs back in, tried to turn it over for a second or two and it didnt start, so we started to push it and pop the clutch and it came to a screaching hult. went home and got some more 370 injectors and replaced them, only to find out after a second time of pulling the plugs there was gas in the 3rd plug again!, got the gas out and towed it home. i pulled the starter & took it in and the starter is still good, checked the fuses to the ignition and the starter and both are fine, no more gas has gotten into the intake but the motor still wont even try and turn over, it has a brand new battery on it as well and im still just getting a loud "clink" comming from somewhere in the motor. the motor is jammed. We had this problem with another sentra before and we just held the key to turn it on and eventually it unjammed to cranked over. we also tried to move the motor by the pully but it was just comming loose, or tightening up. we also put it in reverse and pushed it a little bit and popped the clutch out to break it free, still nothing. Anyone have ideas on how to unjam this bad boy before i buy a new motor lol?

You probably tore one or more of the lower injector o-rings, leading to the flooded cylinders. Pull the spark plugs, and try to turn the engine over by hand with a socket and breaker bar on the crank pulley bolt. Pull the injectors, and inspect the o-rings. Replace any damaged ones, and when re-installing, coat them in oil or Vaseline.

I pulled the plugs and turned it over, repaired all the injectors and tried to turn the pully but either way I went it either tightened or loosened.

wow that sucks! sorry to hear about the trouble.

Even if you do get the motor unjammed, would it still be in ok condition to drive? If it's locked up that badly, idk, I think I'd rather pull the motor and tear it down. But that's just me.

with that much gas you may have washed down the cylinder walls.

pour oil in the cylinders and let it soak for a few days, you might get lucky and get it to free up. You can try pb blaster as well but stay away from wd40. Go out and try to turn it over every couple days or so, that's your best shot. Hopefully you didn't lodge any rings or anything.

More.than.likely.bent a rod... its.common when engine is hydro locked from.gasoline... antifreeze or water from.driving.through a puddle.

Hows your engine grounds? I had a iissue one time where i was.flooding my cylinders to the point in which it wouldnt run.and it turned out to.be a bad.ground.from.when i relocated the battery to the trunk
