sr20de + T help please
hello

I have a b13 runing with sr20de +t , avenir t25 turbo, 370s injectors , walbro 255 ,avenir ecu and sr20de o2 sensor, the issue is that when i use

avenir maf + avenir ecu = iddle is very bad and WOT is lean 15s AFR

and using

sr20de maf + avenir ecu = iddle is good but very rich 10.0 AFR and WOT is 10.5

both running at 7 psi and sr20de o2 sensor

and ignition timming is 15°

what do you think turbo guys ?
what do i need to get good iddle and good AFR at iddle and at WOT

also i have the avenir o2 sensor , because it was in the J pipe when i buy the turbo , but i use sr20de stock o2 because the avenir o2 i get dosnt have the pig tail, so i use the sr20de o2 sensor and both are fat o2 sensor

you need to get your ecu chipped for the setup you have. running a det 8:5:1 program is not the safest thing to do on a 9:5:1 motor. So you need a program for a 9:5:1 motor with a turbo, stock maf, and 370cc injectors. The jdm ecu needs the skinny 02 sensor which can be had from greg v. What kind of wide band are you using?

I learned this the hard way.

Today I tried the avenir ecu and maf in a sr20de + t of a frind which was built with Wiseco pistons 8:5:1 and the same problem occurred

so i think is not the 9:5:1 pistons the problem in my car

the problem with the avenier ecu is you have the wrong 02 sensor. You need the skinny 02 sensor in order to run a jdm ecu in a usdm car. You may also have a issue with the maf. running a 8:5:1 program on a 9:5:1 motor will not cause it to run funny but is not safe due to the timing maps used on the 8:5:1 ecu. The 9:5:1 will detonate while using the 8:5:1 program.

i cant use the skinny o2 sensor because is the j pipe wich iam using is for fat o 2 sensor
and is oem and its suposed that this turbo comes from an avenir.

so i use the o2 sensor that was in the J pipe o2 sensor
my car is MDM is a b13 Tsuru sr20de+t

i've never heard or read anything like that, i've seen several cars running jdm ecu's an usdm sensors.. further more i've seen cars with chipped ecu's (calum, jwt. nistune ect) running skinny o2 sensors.. they just had to wire it in correctly as i think plugs were different?

so either all those setups were wrong, or i was under the wrong impression/misinformed or misread somewhere along the lines.

about the maf's, i've read that the det/de mafs are the same or close to it.. just scaled differently in the ecu/tune but im not 100% on this stuff, just tryin to pitch in here.

based on the ecu part number and type

DE ECU = stock o2 sensor
DET ECU 23710-79XXX = skinny o2 sensor
DET ECU 23710-1EXXX = stock o2 sensor
DET ECU 23710-54C00 = skinny o2 sensor
JWT ECU = stock o2 sensor

54C = GTiR
79E = Bluebird U12
1E0 = Bluebird U13/W10/W11

so the avenir uses the stock 02 sensor. I was under th impression all jdm ecu's used the skinny 02 sensor not the fat usdm. I will add the ve ecu also uses the stock usdm 02 sensor.

found it on the old forum
