You could always use a torch to heat it and bend it to where it needs to be. It doesn't look like you need a ton of adjustment to make it clear the cross member.

yeah you need to have the flex moved over. I have the same issue on the p10, im just going to cut the flex out & move it over/back

Well its brand new so on principle Id prefer VRS to fix it. They said they'd have me ship it back so they can check it on their jig. Plus i dont weld nor do i even have the ness tools and i dont trust a lot of the local shops around here to do it properly

No vrs needs to fix it.. That's bs.. No one should have to do that, it should fit properly. I'm not all that happy with the exhaust kit we got.. The bends are not right where it goes over the rear control arm, we're dealing with it but only cause we can fix it to how it should be, speedo cannot.. Vrs is fucking slippin!

You do realize 3" piping is not an easy fit on these cars right? They come from the factory with almost half that size.

EDIT: VRS has already said they will help anyways.

To me its more or less the principle of it. If a company flaws their product, you'd want them to fix it. If they do then i'd be more inclined to purchase from them again knowing if theres a problem, they stand behind their product. If they dont fix it, then you know to go somewhere else next time.....i'm going to need a 3in cat back in the future so how this situation turns out may be the deciding factor where I get that cat back from

its not that hard... their bends are NOT right where it goes over the rear control arm man.. it makes the pipe that goes to the muffler hit the spare tire area, our plan is to cut an clock it a bit away, for now it works an we were in a hurry to get it on so we could get the car out of te shop, but a few cuts an welds an it'll be gravy.. had it been a bolt on kit, i'd be PISSED! lol

im glad they are going to help him, but im sure their going to make him pay shipping back to them, which is weak sauce if so..

at this point vrs is no better then mandrelexhaustsystems.com thats where i've got most my exhausts from.. and they use a different method to hold the 2 rear pieces together, its like a ball fit instead of a flat flange, it gives you a little more room to work with.
