The bends are not right where it goes over the rear control arm, we're dealing with it but only cause we can fix it to how it should be, speedo cannot.. Vrs is fucking slippin!

If they dont fix it, then you know to go somewhere else next time.....i'm going to need a 3in cat back in the future so how this situation turns out may be the deciding factor where I get that cat back from

at this point vrs is no better then mandrelexhaustsystems.com thats where i've got most my exhausts from.. and they use a different method to hold the 2 rear pieces together, its like a ball fit instead of a flat flange, it gives you a little more room to work with.

pretty sure you herd this before, both VRS and MES are CUSTOM exhaust system/pipe kit. it's hard to make sure everything fit well without the car actually being there.

I had issues with MandrelBendSystems, where they wouldn't ship my exhaust for two weeks, canceled the ordered and went with VRS. Had some fitment issues with VRS too. I dismissed it because I got a kit for the p11 kits probably don't sell much at all.

Not like there is much choice in down pipes or exhausts for our cars anyway. It's better then alternatives. For me personally, I'll be making them from scratch going forward, I have a mig so might as well use it.

ok guys, had some time to think an reflect, maybe i went off the handle a bit there..

the way i look at it is, if your spending money on something for a specific vehicle (not universal) my belief is it should fit without mod as long as everything is they way they intended their product to be used on.

we spend good money on stuff, not just me or my friends but alot of us forum guys.. if we let company's put out products that are sub-par and just accept it we'll get walked on.. anyone remember OVERKILL?

i hope speedo gets his issues resolved, also i dont hold @LikeTheMovies responsible in any way shape or form, i know he's just the middle man, and only does what we ask of him, he isnt able to check people items personally for quality/fitment so he has no control over the matter.

If you think spending $500 on an exhaust system is good money, you are crazy. The second system I bought from VRS was my custom 2.5" SS with a 22" resonator and oval muffler and was $585 I think and that is cheap compared to most aftermarket cat and cat-back exhaust systems.

At least we don't have these pricey tubes:

Thousands of dollars and yes it will fit perfectly because the car is right there.

Remember the forum chasing away Snickers and now everyone that wants to make decent power STILL uses a snickers header in some way, shape, or form. I saw a bunch at this years convention, both ASP and new squigglies that he has made.

So just because we're not spending thousands of dollars we do not deserve stuff that fits? I'm not fucking rich so any money is good money I didnt necessarily mean a lot of money or I'd have said that.
