It's alive!!! Re bled the lifters and it's running strong. Still have some small vacuum leaks to track down and a compression test to confirm but it seems to he running well!

Culprit was bad exhaust valves the past time around. First couple times there was some head sealing issues as well. Pulling the head this weekend for repair. Hopefully this thing will run in a month or so!
