Thread: Help Bluebird Problems..

i havent found a specific enough write up on it as it is pretty straight forward but ill explain anyways. Turn your key to the ON position but do not start the car. With a volt meter, stick the positive terminal of the meter into the middle wire on the TPS plug connector (on the wiring harness). keeping the tps plugged in. You have to poke in through the rubber part into the middle wire. Touch the negative terminal on a ground. As you move the throttle open, you will see the voltage change. take note of your measurements. It should be 0.35-0.5 V closed and 4v WOT

ight ima do it once i get off of work.... have you gotten a lil bit through wit the boggin???
mine is not doin it as bad anymore once the car is warmed up, all i did was ground the maf- new plugs gapped at .28 - tightened up my intercooler pipes....
still shutting off if i get into it after the rpm drops... the only way that does not happen is if i gas it a lil in nuetral to keep the rpms up..

I havent really been doing anything. I'm just driving it around alot, and it seems to drive a lot better now. It hasnt died on me so far this week. Have you tried checking your TPS?
i'm still waiting to get my FMIC piping done before i get tuning done. I'm also still waiting to get an afpr. I think i'm going to re-wire my TPS and see if it solves the problem. I'll keep you updated.

ight .. hey would you happen to know about hooking up blowoff valves ? im tryin t see if i have to eliminate aythin or not

my car over heated yesterday, i have both fans running constantly and no thermastat, so im thinking it could be my radiator... the top hose to the radiator seemed a lil bloated..
any ideas anyone?

possible air in the system? maybe but im not positive

what gauge is under the hood in the vid? if that is a fuel press tester then your fuel pump is junk.

if it is a vac gauge were is it connected to?
