GTiR Boost Source for WG
Where is the boost source for my WG actuator on a GTiR head? I have th other stuff figured out... the diagram shows it going to a vacuum line. Is this correct? Doesn't seem right.

SR20DET 54C Wastegate
On a N14 with a SR20DET 54C the Wastegate vacuum line would be connected to the Wastegate Valve Control Solenoid Valve. It then would go onto the Intercooler piping between the cold sold of the Intercooler and the Intake Manifold. There is an Air Chamber box on the bottom of the Intake Manifold where you can plumb it to.

To keep it simple, just connect it anywhere between the Compressor Outlet and the Intake manifold. You can treat it like a boost gauge in that way.

Thanks for the diagrams. Very much appreciated.

For my WG... I used a nipple that was just below the collector on the upper plenum. Should work like a champ.

I hate it when so many people just guess and spout out non-sense (not that I'm not occasionally guilty of that). I do my best to put out correct info that I can easily back up via FSM, ESM or FAST.

Glad to help - let me know if you need anything else.
