I can only work on the car for a few hours at a time. Today I will drill the oil return and get the rotating assembly together! I will post pics asap!

Oil Squirters. MMMM.

Stock oil filter location. Much better than the Older DE/DET motors. I would have everyone convert to this location.

This is me being a nerd with a lapping tool. I had to make sure the block was as smooth as possible. Check the old photos against the new ones! It made a huge difference!

MMMMM girdle.

You can see the difference between the stock gasket on the bottom and the new cometic. The quality difference is very noticeable. Hopefully this cometic holds up like everyone around here says they will.

Lots more pics coming up. Hope you enjoy.

All together now! ARP recommends 105 lb ft on the new head studs!!!

I played with the cam timing a little bit, but settled on the stock settings for now.

This is me.

everything looks good, except for the last picture.

edit: nice lapping tool, I rarely see any SR guys use it. Yet, 99% of the supra guys do.

Thats what i am hoping for. I really wanna make the gt live show. I hope there are more ve guys this year than just me. I hear there is a 240 with a ve head around. supposed to make serious power.

I am hoping to hit around 375whp on 16 psi. 16psi is stock wastegate pressure. What do most DET guys get out of this turbo on that boost with s3 cams? I would guess they would be around the same power right?

really? my mug is that bad. hmmmm. Well I was all sweaty after torquing those head studs. I was worried about pulling threads out of the block!

yeah you should be able to hit that around that boost level..... Your major limiting factors with this set-up is the management you are running, cause you can't fine tune a JWT chip and that log manifold...backpressure not friendly, but that also depends if you plan on pushing more than 20lbs of boost or not.
