Good luck on your VET Coheed, so far its looking fantastic. Are you keeping stock cams timing since you have VET cams?. I'm going to play with the cam timing since I'm keeping stock VE cams, your setup is pretty similar to mine, im going to use a slightly bigger turbo.

I was thinking of increasing the overlap slightly but I am going to try the stock setting first. Then I was thinking of playing with the cam timing to see what happens. If you are looking for a big turbo the gt4202r is pretty big lol. The gt35r is a monster, but only if you plan to rev it out like crazy. the little 2.0 won't spool it completely until just over 5k.

The 3076r should make this SEL run a 10 before it is even maxxed out. That is scary fast for a steet car. The 35r will make it run a low 10.

I have played with the idea of going bigger, but if I would have gone with a bigger, higher hp setup it would have never had a cam problem imo. The stock cams work well in tubular manifolds with big turbos. Why not try for something crazy? Just hook me up with a video when you are done! lol.

I'm going with a tubular manifold, but just not equal length as it is a street car and I want a strong manifold, it's getting custom made for top mount fit. I'm not going that big on the turbo lol, just slightly bigger, already have it here, it's a master power T60-1 .70 compressor, and .63 exhaust. Ill be happy if I make +300whp on pump gas and +400 on c16 or water injection.

You will make a lot more than that. I will be hitting close to 400whp on pump. Maybe more who knows how much power this thing will make.

should easily be able to make around 400whp on pump i am.

as far as water injection and c16 eh its really up in the air from what ive read and from the talks ive had with my tuner, its really hard to say that c16 with water injection would b really worth it, taking into consideration the tuning for the water injection, tuning for the c16, 12 dollar a gallon fuel, the cost is up there for what is really not THAT great of gains for all the money spent, but thats just whati gathered. alot of fine tuning is needed for both c16 and water injetion, also for a streetable car c16 andwater injection isnt 100% practical, esp at the price of race fuel, i donno

COHEED, awsome build alot of great parts should mke awsome power

That's what I am hoping for. Big power for a street driver! I wanna nail 12.0 quarter.

Hehe, I said C16 OR water injection, it would be ridiculous to use both lol. I would not do it for power, but to protect the engine at the race track from the crappy pump gas at a high rate of boost. I think water injection is more practical because you can use it on the street as well, just switch the system on when you switch to high boost, and you wont have to be looking for race gas all the time.

Im still curious as to why more of you are not considering e85 for these higher boost applications??
This is a very sweet set-up you have going here.....i have heard every argument in the book about fuel usage and such that it uses more, blah blah blah.....We convert and tune cars every day for e85 here at our shop.... I believe even with your stock fuel lines....Im not sure what injectors you have, and a 255 pump....you would easily be able to get close to maxing out this turbo for boost... Cause with no issues at all you can boost on e85 to 28lbs, and not one sign of detonating....plus the cooling effect this fuel has is rediculous.... just putting it out there. its $1.40 cheaper at the pump than premium, and is almost as good as c16!!!

I have thought about it, but the lack of fuel stations around make it an inconvenience for me. it certainly has advantages, but not worth it imo.

I guess thats ethanol, right?, that fuel is currently not available here.
